ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) is a unique 14-digit identification number that helps you access your health records digitally across different healthcare providers in India.
You can create your ABHA ID through:
- ABHA mobile app
- Official ABDM website
- Visit nearest ABHA ID creation center
- Through registered healthcare facilities
You can create your ABHA ID in two ways:
Online Method:
- Visit https://abha.abdm.gov.in/
- Click on "Create ABHA Number"
- Enter your Aadhaar number and verify with OTP
- Complete the registration process
- Your 14-digit ABHA number will be generated
Offline Method:
- Visit any ABDM-enabled health facility
- Bring your Aadhaar card
- Request ABHA ID creation at the registration desk
The entire process takes only 2-3 minutes!
ABHA ID is not mandatory but highly recommended as it enables you to access digital health services, maintain health records, and avail benefits under various government health schemes.
The PHR (Personal Health Records) App is your digital health locker where you can store and manage all your health documents linked to your ABHA ID.
